Affiliate Disclosure

LootFYR uses affiliate links. This page explains that relationship plainly and without marketing gloss.

What this means

Some links on LootFYR point to products or offers on third-party websites. These are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or complete a qualifying action, LootFYR may earn a commission from the merchant or affiliate network at no extra cost to you.

This constitutes a material commercial relationship between LootFYR and the merchants or networks whose links appear on this site. We are disclosing it in accordance with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media (2021), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which require clear and upfront disclosure of any paid or incentivised promotion to Indian consumers.

The commission is paid by the merchant or affiliate network. The price you pay is not affected. In most cases it is identical to what you would pay going directly to the merchant's website or app.

LootFYR currently earns affiliate commissions through the following programs and platforms:

  • Amazon Associates (Amazon India)
  • Flipkart Affiliate Program
  • ExtraPe - an Indian affiliate network covering multiple e-commerce merchants including Myntra, AJIO, Meesho, and others
  • Any other program or network that may be added in the future

When in doubt, treat any outbound product or offer link on LootFYR as a potential affiliate link.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not determine what gets featured. Deals are selected based on discount depth, product relevance, availability, and value to the reader. We would only share a deal we consider genuinely worth your attention, regardless of whether a commission is attached.

We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or prioritise any specific product or merchant. No deal slot is for sale.

How to identify affiliate links

Affiliate links on LootFYR typically redirect through a tracking URL before reaching the merchant. You may notice domains such as amzn.to, fkrt.it, or a similar short-link before you land on the product page. The merchants and networks currently involved include:

  • Amazon India - via Amazon Associates
  • Flipkart - via Flipkart Affiliate Program
  • Myntra, AJIO, Meesho, and other Indian e-commerce platforms - via their respective affiliate or referral programs
  • Any other merchant or network that may be added in the future

This list may not be exhaustive at all times. When in doubt, assume any outbound product link may be an affiliate link.

Cookies and tracking

Affiliate networks use browser cookies and similar tracking technologies to attribute purchases to the correct referral. When you click an affiliate link, the merchant or network may set a cookie on your device. This is how commissions are tracked and credited.
